At Athari, we are confident in the quality of our metal cards. Every card is covered for 30 days from the date of delivery against original manufacturing defects.
Examples of covered defects:
• The magnetic strip separating from the metal surface
- The EMV chip or magstripe not functioning correctly
(Please ensure the issue happens consistently across multiple card readers before contacting us.)
Please note that lost, physically damaged, or stolen cards are not covered under the standard warranty.
Optional Extended Insurance (Recommended)
When ordering, you can choose to add 1-year or 2-year insurance coverage.
This protects you in case the card becomes defective later on due to normal use — and we will replace or repair your card under that coverage.
This extended protection ensures long-term security and peace of mind.
Bank-Issued Replacement Cards Due to Fraud
Your security is our priority. If your bank reissues your card within 30 days due to suspected fraud or security reasons, we will provide a replacement card.
A small handling fee of 40AED applies.
You can avoid this fee by sending us the required cards yourself and including a prepaid return label.
Defect Reporting Period
If you report a defect, we will begin assistance immediately.
You’ll have 30 days to return the card for repair or replacement.
If the card is not returned within that window, the free replacement offer becomes void. After 30 days, replacements can only be made through our extended Card Insurance Program.
Upgrades or Design Changes
If you wish to upgrade or change your design during this period, please refer to the “Risk-Free Period” details within our Refund Policy.
